LAWRENCE, Kan. – March 26, 2018 – Allen Press, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Rinda as Scholarly Sales Executive. Rinda has nearly 30 years of experience in the scholarly publishing and information industries and is tasked with growing Allen Press’s scholarly publisher services.

Rinda has a strong understanding of both journal marketing and electronic content delivery and has specialized in electronic product revenue growth within the scholarly publishing industry for many years. Working with Allen Press marketing and operations teams, he will leverage his background to help publishers create innovative and sustainable strategies geared towards future growth.

In his most recent role, Tim worked as the Director of Electronic Product Marketing for the publishing division of the American Psychological Association (APA). He’s also held positions that include Institutional Marketing Manager for Wolters Kluwer Health/Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, and a series of roles of increasing responsibility within marketing management for Thomson Scientific/ISI.

Tim attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where he earned a BSBA in Marketing. A native of suburban Philadelphia, he is a fan of Philly sports, and enjoys spending time with family.
