LAWRENCE, Kan. – September 21, 2017 – Allen Press, Inc. is pleased to announce that Terry Leatherman has been promoted to Manager of Association Management Services. Leatherman joined Allen Press in February 2017 as an Association Manager.
In his new role, Leatherman will oversee and expand the Allen Press Association Management division, which provides membership management, strategic consultation, database administration, customer service and annual meeting coordination to non-profit societies and associations.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – May 19, 2017 – Allen Press, Inc. has purchased a HP Indigo 7900 Digital Press. The Indigo 7900 is the leading 13 x 19 inch format digital sheetfed press on the market and provides a wide range of digital applications through innovative print quality, media versatility and intelligent automation.
In addition to the Indigo 7900, Allen Press is adding a C.P. Bourg Inline Booklet Maker ExPress and an Epic CT-750 Coating System.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – May 10, 2017 – Allen Press, Inc. has purchased two Hawk M6 UV variable inkjet systems from Capital Mailing Equipment, Inc. The Hawk M6 is the latest generation of high-resolution drop-on-demand (DOD) print technology.
The Hawk M6’s utilizes UV inks and LED lamps for drying which shortens production time overall.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – May 8, 2017 – Allen Press, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Scobee to Director of Manufacturing. Scobee first joined the Allen Press team in October 2016 as a Web Press Consultant to help manage the installation of a new M600 web press.
